UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a talented and experienced User Interface and Interaction Designer to join an Agile/Scrum development organization and lead the UI and UX research and design process for our online solutions. You will be a critical part of the team for the product and you will work closely with other the Product Manager and Marketing team, in addition to development team, throughout the design and development process.
You will be a good fit for this position if...you have experience designing innovative, modern user interfaces or experience researching and designing enterprise-grade web application interfaces. You must aware of best practices but are not afraid to break the rules to try new things and see if they work. You will be well read and able to articulate your own opinions based on the information and its relevancy to us. You'd rather innovate than copy, but you know sometimes an idea is too good not to borrow. You understand the value of reusing design patterns across products in a family, but you won't let that be a crutch.
Responsibilities
- Work with business analysts from both IT and Marketing in applying usability and design concepts to requirements and functional specifications.
- Use wireframes, application flow diagrams, and other tools to document and communicate page designs and process flows.
- Provide input into SaaS application, web site, and mobile designs.
- Work with development team in an iterative fashion to ensure user experience concepts are being applied during the development phase.
- Develop usability testing standards.
- Carry out usability testing both with external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize surveys, interviews, shadowing and other methods to gather data.
- Assist with or lead in A/B testing and reporting results to management.
- Defend suggestions with research and data.
- Develop a user experience toolkit with standards, objects, and examples to ensure usability concepts are being applied in a standard fashion companywide.
- Stay up-to-date on current UX/UI research and continually educate the company on UX/UI concepts and importance.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in UX role
- Mobile UX experience a plus
- SaaS experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Agile development concepts
- Proficient in Google Analytics
